Today I went and got Mom and we went to Cracker Barrel, her treat, for lunch. She is doing well, thank the Lord.

Okay, up 1 and yes, I DID consume 3500 extra calories since last posting BUT I've also been walking more, too.
I'm still down 15 from highest weight this year.

Looks like we've got rain on the way. This will probably help cool down the high-90's temps we South Carolinians have been having lately.

I went and got Mom from the nursing home yesterday and took her shopping, which is what she chose to do on our weekly outing. She got 8 tops and a pair of pants. We had a nice time together.

I have been doing a lot of walking on the treadmill as well as other places and keeping a close tally on calories during the day. I am down 16 from my highest weight earlier this year. I can now wear ALL my size 8 100% cotton Levi's jeans, a 7 year goal attained. Although the new scale I bought recently registers my weight at 151.4, Mom's old scale I was using before this one registers my weight at 147 (highest on it earlier this year was 163).

Hubby is back to work today. While off work a few days, he and I took Mom out to lunch and shopping the other day. Hubby and I enjoyed sort if a 'mini-vacation' together, traveling to the next town over and walking around, etc.

We are still having very warm (90's) weather here. Sunshine/Afternoon storms this week.

Still doing more protein, as in having it with most meals. Still counting calories. Finally let go of the nitetime food binges. Do NOT miss them, either, as protein is helping me stay feeling full.

Hubby is doing well. So is Mom...I visit her a lot...took her to the optimologist (sp?) the other day and she got nice, new eyeglasses, thanks to the Lord.

Have been including protein most times when eat. Also moving a LOT lately.

Yesterday was church and also my Aunt and I had lunch together at Cracker Barrel, her treat. Later I visited Mom at the nursing home. I took her fresh peaches again that she likes, and we sat on the front porch, talking and she ate most of the peaches.

Recently, Hubby was off work a few days and we, with the Lord's help, installed a new back door with locks and chains, replacing the original door that was broken in on a while back. It took us 2 days to do the work, but was cheaper than hiring someone to install the door and hardware.

Mom is doing pretty well...still visiting her as well as taking her out to lunch, etc.
