Hello to you!

It is a beautiful, cool (54 degrees) autumn morning here in SC.

Mom and I had a pleasant outing yesterday. I bought her a Thomas Kincade calendar that has different paintings and sayings on each individual day-page about the size of one's hand across. We had lunch at a farmers market and I wheeled her around and bought her some fruit she picked out. Before taking her back I got us ice cream sundaes w 10 cherries each (we love them), at a drive-in restaurant. We spent over 3 hours together. We laughed together and acted goofy and had a good time.

Hello to you!

Pretty, sunny day in the 80's here.

I've been back and forth to the nursing home, visiting Mom as well as I took her out to lunch at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant, my treat, this past Thursday. We had the turkey, dressing, and gravy and sweet potato suffle with cornbread and biscuits and tea. After we ate, we looked in the store part of the restaurant where they already have up Christmas displays and Mom bought me a pretty Christmas mug, red, with holly trim around the edges and she bought herself a pretty snowman soft figurine that is now set on her shelf by her window, which is by her bed.

Hello to you!

It is a pretty, warm, sunny morning here in S. C.

I visited a sleepy Mom yesterday at the nursing home and sat with her as she resumed her afternoon nap I'd awakened her from.

Today's plan, Lord willing, is go to a nearby church (not the one we attend) and buy 2 fish dinner boxes (they are cooking and selling fish dinners today) for Hubby and me. He is working today so his will be for his supper. Mine will be either lunch or supper, not sure which one yet.

Today's Weight: 152.0. (Yep, already working on the 150.4 within 6 more days, Lord willing. Still doing extra walking and calories counting, as usual.)
Highest Weight: 205.0. (In 1998...and went down 50 lbs. within a year to 155.0.)

Hello to you!

Hubby and I are hoping to, Lord willing, go on a mountain vacation next month to celebrate our upcoming 20th wedding anniversary.

Highest weight (1998): 205.0
Still wearing size 8 jeans but would like to fit into them even more comfy so goal is to be at 150.4 within 7 days. That should be easy enough. Have still been doing extra walking on treadmill as well as pushing Mom in her wheelchair on our weekly outings when taking her shopping/and or/out to lunch.
